During this three-day Summit, TCiNN will bring together health, education, built environment, faith, conservation, and community leaders to shape an even brighter future for the children of Texas. Over 250 community leaders from across the state will gather to strengthen the network and develop opportunities and policies that will connect more children and families in nature. New this year: special, private film screening of Deep in the Heart and informative half-day workshops are included in your registration.
The Steve Lewis project, a group of San Antonio-area organizations and its education service center, are developing an experiential environmental education program dedicated to getting kids and teachers outdoors. Come hear about how the group was formed, how they developed their program model, how the partnerships work, and their future plans. The group will also address the peaks and valleys along the way and the guidance they received from the namesake of the group. You will leave with an understanding of their work and how to effectively execute action to increase access to nature for students in their community.
